The former Knightsbridge Fire Station, 16 Basil St.

From layersofLondon.org:

“…in 1907, the construction of the station had just been completed.
This station replaced an earlier fire station which was built in 1879 under the Metropolitan Board of Works for the Metropolitan Fire Brigade. A photograph from 1905, which was also taken by the London County Council, documents the earlier fire station (see link below).
The station’s firefighters feature in British Pathé’s ‘London’s Smartest Fire Station’ newsreel from 1921 (see second link below). The Knightsbridge team won first place in a ‘turning out’ competition with a time of 9 1/15th seconds! The men stand in formation to collect their cup, tipping their hats and cheering.
The fire station closed owing to cuts to the fire service in 2014. The building has since been converted into apartments.”
